Next up, an apology to all men, for not knowing the difference
between Pamela Anderson and Natalie Maines!

Singer BRANDY's getting a divorce from her music producer husband
ROBERT SMITH. They'll reportedly remain friends, and raise their
daughter jointly.

the other American Idol finalists for their summer tour. Interesting
that they forgot to mention this until AFTER the tickets went on sale!

not revealing his legal troubles? Those troubles have been resolved.
He was sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation. And
ordered to return KENNY G.'s hair.

yes.

friends with interesting but useless info? CAMERON DIAZ got paid
$20 million. DREW BARRYMOORE's salary is $14 million (but gets
more from being one of the film's producers). LUCY LIU only made

DESTINY'S CHILD will become a foursome again next year. It's not
official who the new member will be (but seriously, how could it NOT
be BEYONCE's little sister, SOLANGE?).

Readers of Rolling Stone magazine have named U2 "best live act in
the world." RADIOHEAD, BON JOVI, DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, and
TORI AMOS (?!) round out the top five. Sorry PIA ZADORA fans, she
didn't make the list, again!

acting roles. Meantime, she's working on her second album, with
help from boyfriend STEPHAN JENKINS (singer, THIRD EYE BLIND).

for good next May. The show's been on NBC since 1952 (ah, actually
for the last 11 years).

because he wants the fried chicken chain to treat the birds better.
On the other hand, do you think those ads are really helping?

marry him. She said, "Why the hell not, since we already have a
two-year-old daughter together."

Scantily clad lingerie models will face each other in a 7-on-7 tackle
football game, in a pay-per-view event held during halftime of the
Superbowl in January. I know, I had to read that sentence twice,
too!

CHRIS ROCK will host the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

BLINK-182 is being sued by a former roadie who claims he thought
up the name for their album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. The
roadie wants a lot of money for his idea. People taking credit for
ideas like this usually get detention.

World Idol? The creator of the "Idol" phenomenon wants the various
winners from around the globe to compete against each other for
the title of "World Idol." Hey, what about winners from other planets?
Like URANUS AIKEN?

Okay, I'm turning myself in for detention!

It's called Life For Rent.

four death threats currently being investigated by Scotland Yard.
The correct (?) answer is "C".

LUKE WILSON, VINCE VAUGHN, and WILL FARRELL will reunite
sometime next year to film Old School 2. The plot? Old guys (at least

Throttle.

The third-annual BET Awards, honoring music, movies and sports,

box office over the weekend: $62.6 million, the biggest June opening
ever.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix sold 5 million copies on
Saturday alone. Retail prices for the book are between $17 and $20.
So when you do the math, Harry Potter kicked the Hulk's ass!

with two men who approached him outside a hotel in Brooklyn. Did
ya know? Stories where "two men approach Mike Tyson" have a
62% chance of ending in "arrest." (Farmer's Almanac, look it up for
yourself).

RUBEN STUDDARD and CLAY AIKEN will release their debut albums
on the same day, August 19th. Their record company says this'll
"give the consumers a chance to vote with their money."

Looks like movie-goers "voted with their money." From Justin To Kelly,
starring the two finalists from the first season of American Idol, made
less than $3 million and didn't even crack the top-ten during its
opening weekend.

BRITNEY SPEARS and MARY J. BLIGE will headline a free concert
September 4th in Washington, DC, to celebrate the NFL's opening
weekend.

SEAN "P-DIDDY" COMBS once said he wanted to be "the black FRANK

Showbizz Buzz for Friday, June 20th

SIMON COWELL is one of People magazine's "25 Hottest Bachelors."
If he's really so "brutally honest," why doesn't he blast the
magazine for its "dreadful choice of bachelors?"

MADONNA wears $20 million worth of vintage jewels and gowns in
her new video for the song Hollywood.

The Madame Tussaud Wax Museum in New York's Times Square
recently unveiled a statue of JENNIFER LOPEZ. J-Lo got upset when

obliged the temperamental diva, and made the butt smaller. Don't
feel bad for the unused wax--it found a new home on the ANNA
NICOLE statue!

The search for the next bachelorette is on. Click here for details.

their farewell tours, they probably won't know it!
