Paul McCartney & Heather Mills Paul McCartney is a father again, this time with wife Heather Mills. The seven-pound baby girl was born Tuesday. McCartney has three adult children from his marriage to the late Linda McCartney

Justin Timberlake has agreed to come up with some original music for the NBA on ABC. He'll also appear occasionally as a special sports correspondent for the network.

A judge has ordered singer Scott Weiland to enter a live-in detox center immediately, following his arrest Monday on driving under the influence charges.

Music producer Timbaland, Missy Elliott and Justin Timberlake are updating the all-star charity classic "We Are The World" to raise money and awareness for the fight against AIDS. The new version will be called "The World Is Ours," and should be out next year.

Today's Matt Lauer asked Courtney Cox if she's pregnant. The Friends co-star said: "Not quite yet. But I'll let you know."

P. Diddy P. Diddy's in hot water after allegations broke that he uses sweatshop labor to produce his Sean Jean clothing line. Apparently, he pays them P. Diddily-Squat!

Having trouble staying off the drugs: Scott Weiland was busted in Hollywood earlier this week for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol after he slammed into a parked car and tried to flee the scene.

Word is part of the money raised by Michael Jackson's charity single will go to the Church of Scientology. When it was recorded two years ago, the big stars who sang on it were under the impression it was to help the families of 9/11. And my mom's always asking me why I have to make fun "of the nice Michael Jackson."

The Adventures of Indiana Jones: The Complete DVD Collection made $50 million in retail sales last week, making it the fastest-selling DVD movie collection of all time.

Fox was the most-watched television network for the third week in a row. That's never happened before.

Nelly Rapper Nelly's hotel room in Las Vegas was robbed of more than $1 million in jewelry while he was in town for the 2003 Radio Music Awards. If Ryan Seacrest shows up on American Idol next season all "bling blinged" out--we'll know who did it!

Somebody stole Michelle Branch's computer from her hotel room during the very same RMAs. I'd think Michelle "Branch" probably owns an "Apple."

Congrats to Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe on the birth of a son, Deacon Phillippe, last Thursday.

Rod Roddy, the flashy-suited announcer on The Price Is Right, has passed away. Roddy had been suffering from colon, breast and prostate cancer the last couple years. He was 66.

Britney Spears was in the news again--but I'm not writing about her today. (Please refer to yesterday's Britney Buzz type-fest for plenty of stories about this pop chanteuse.)

Rocker Courtney Love has been officially charged on two felony counts of drug possession stemming from her October 2nd arrest for being under the influence.

Michael Jackson's two-year-old all-star charity single "What More Can I Give" is now available for paid download at MusicForGiving.com. For a two-dollar donation, you can get the song. How's this work? I agree to listen to the song, and they'll give me two dollars?

Jon Bon Jovi's heading back to the big screen. Jon was in Richmond, Virginia last week filming a thriller called Living The Lie.

Look for R.E.M. on the December 19th episode of Boston Public performing an acoustic "Losing My Religion."

Word is Halle Berry's James Bond character "Jinx" will not get her own movie as planned. "Creative differences" were cited as the reason for the change in plans. I think that means Halle wanted the movie to be creative, the producers wanted something different.

The next installment of Now That's What I Call Music will come with a bonus DVD of the year's top videos, in addition to the CD full o'big hits. Now 14 arrives in stores November 4th.

Britney Spears could appear in the final episode of Friends. DAMN it! Almost made it through this without her!

Britney Spears Sue Me Baby One More Time: not only is Britney Spears' convicted stalker suing the singer, alleging her bodyguards intimidated him, but the Japanese businessman is also suing the City of Los Angeles, claiming that a 2002 search of his hotel room caused him "loss of human dignity." Yu wanna talk about "human dignity," buddy? Stop stalking people!

Britney Spears is gearing up for her world tour. The singer, a favorite of psycho Japanese stalkers, began auditioning dancers in August. Rehearsals begin in February, and the tour launches in March.

Britney Spears' sit-down with Diane Sawyer for ABC's Primetime Thursday will air November 13th.

Wow. Three Britney stories in a row. Even the stalker probably knows when to say when!

Jessica Simpson recently admitted sales of her new album were a little slow. But don't feel bad. The pop princess just signed a deal with Signatures Network to license her name for lines of fashion, health and beauty products.

I got the gossip gossip-lovers love: actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay's Chris Martin plan to wed next summer at a manor in the English countryside. We can't find Osama Bin Laden, or Weapons of Mass Destruction, but we can dig up the nifty details about a celebrity wedding that may never take place almost a year in advance!

The Marlins-Yankees World Series was the third-lowest rated. In fact, the last three match ups in the October Classic are the three lowest-rated ever.

Illusionist David Blaine disappeared (literally) from his London hospital bed, leaving only a note that said, "Thank you." Maybe somebody showed him the bill.

Justin Timberlake recently admitted he never eats fast food. "I think you should look after your body and eat lots of veg and fresh fruit," the singer told an interviewer. Word is Justin's new bosses at McDonald's (he sings their "I'm Lovin' It" jingle) weren't too happy to hear this.

What would happen if you built a new song around a sample of Madonna's "Justify My Love"? You'd have one of the new tracks on Jay-Z's upcoming CD, The Black Album. The surprise cut is called (what else?) "Justify My Thug."

Avril Lavigne, Coldplay and Evanescence all won trophies at the MTV Latin Awards, which were held last Thursday in Miami Beach.

New albums in stores today: R.E.M., In Time: The Best Of R.E.M. 1988-2003; the Strokes, Room on Fire.

R.E.M. promote that greatest hits album with an appearance tonight on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Scary Movie 3 It's a new October record for Scary Movie 3. The spoofy spooker brought in $49.7 million, the biggest opening ever during the autumnal month. Producers say there will be a fourth installment.

The King Of All Dead Celebs: Elvis Presley tops Forbes.com's list of the top-earning dead celebrities for the third straight year, bringing in $40 million. Peanuts creator Charles Schultz finished second with $32 million. In a related story, Taco Bell won't hire me--and I'm alive!

Jennifer Lopez has come to terms with Glow Industries, who sued the singer claiming J-Lo's Glow perfume was an infringement of their trademark. The company has accepted an undisclosed settlement from Jen and has agreed to stop using the name. Sounds like she bought the rights to the name.

Nicole Kidman is the new face of Chanel. Her Moulin Rouge director, Baz Luhrmann, is creating and helming the ad campaign.

Courtney Love got into a scuffle last week with her late husband's mother outside a Los Angeles courtroom, where the unpredictable rocker is trying to regain custody of her daughter Frances Bean. The child was placed with her grandmother after Love's recent drug arrest. When they say "fight for custody," it's not an actual fight, Courtney!

Avril Lavinge's DVD My World will be screened at movie theaters in 24 cities on November 3rd, the day before its release in stores. Lil' Kim may become the new face of Old Navy. An interesting choice. From the looks of it, she doesn't even like clothes!

Entertainment Tonight reports actress Shannen Doherty is taking it off for Playboy's December issue.

Ratings for last week's premiere of Fox's second installment of Joe Millionaire were a huge disappointment, and the network's brass are trying to figure out why. Hey, just cuz those international beauties don't know what's gonna happen, doesn't mean we don't! The show tries to improve on its sluggish start tonight with its second episode.

Monday Night Football has another Monday Night at the Mic tonight. Titans running back Eddie George performs with Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Monica. They compete against Falcons rookie defensive back Bryan Scott, who plays keyboards with Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Michelle Branch. The football dudes better have some musical chops, or the Grammy people might ask the ladies for their trophies back!
