![]() Clay Aiken, American Idol's most successful runner-up (maybe even more successful than the winners), will hit the road this summer for his first solo tour. Aiken's tour plans to stop in 42 cities. Diddy-dash: Music and fashion mogul P. Diddy will carry the Olympic Torch for a leg of its journey to Athens next month when it passes through New York City. Rock band Creed has called it quits. Singer Scott Stapp is going solo, while three other original members of the group are forming a new band. Word is, tension between Stapp and the rest of the guys caused the split. So that's what Friends are for--helping David Schwimmer get chicks! Now that the show isn't on anymore, Schwimmer's hot girlfriend has dumped him! Just in the 'Nick' (and Jessica) of time: Newlyweds 3 premieres June 16th on MTV. It'll be followed by the debut of The Ashlee Simpson Show. No, that one's not followed by an O.J. Simpson Show (but if you need more 'Simp'… I'm sure there's some Bart and Homer airing somewhere). Word is Madonna has imposed a "cursing fine" on her entire tour crew--five bucks for each profanity. Great... so what words are you supposed to use when you're talking about your over-bearing boss behind her back?? Usher continues to have three songs in the top ten--and "Burn" remains number one for the fourth week. Avril Lavigne has the number one album in the country. Under My Skin tops the Billboard charts. While we're talking about Avril 'skin'… rocker Fred Durst recently flew in his private jet to an Avril Lavigne concert hoping to get some (he'd recently fetched her some burgers and fries after meeting backstage at another concert). Fred was NOT successful, according to reports in Rolling Stone magazine. The season finale of The Sopranos airs Sunday night on HBO. New in theaters: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. --Greg Valentine
