Britney Spears Got more info about Britney Spears's greatest ti… er, hits album coming out in November. The CD will include one new song, a new single that'll be released September 14th.

So exactly how did Britney Spears end up engaged? The story here.

American Idol Fantasia has the number one single on the Billboard charts, ending Usher's 19-week streak of holding down the top spot. But the news wasn't all good for Fantasia. First-week sales of her single were only half Clay Aiken's debut sales from a year ago.

Mr. Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachay, has signed on for six episodes of the WB's Charmed that'll air next season.

Tabloid reporters say they've spotted Jennifer Aniston buying pineapple ice cream and dill pickles while grocery shopping--supposed "proof" that the Friends star is preggers. It's definite proof that tabloid reporters have no lives!

Clay Aiken is set to sing the national anthem and perform Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA" on PBS' A Capitol Fourth Sunday night.

Fantasia performs on Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, on NBC and hosted by Carson Daly.

For her part, the American Idol runner-up, Diana DeGarmo will sing the national anthem at the Atlanta Braves game on the Fourth of July. And Justin Gaurini would like to know if you "want fries with that."

Will remaining members of TLC find a replacement for the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes via a reality TV search? It's a totally unconfirmed rumor (but stranger things have happened).

"Attention Wal-Mart shoppers… Avril Lavigne is rockin' her ass off in the electronics department." The retail giant has hooked up with AOL for a series of Friday night concerts that'll be broadcast on TVs in 2,600 Wal-Marts across the country. Avril kicks it off tonight.

Happy 21st: Singer Michelle Branch (who married her bass player and nobody knew about it until Entertainment Weekly reported it this week) can now legally order a beer.

Tori Spelling gets married tomorrow. What's the guy's name? What's the point in saying it--he's "Mr. Tori Spelling" from now on.

New in theaters this weekend: Spider-Man 2 (opened Wednesday); and some other ones nobody will see!

Britney Spears Britney Spears IS engaged. Insiders say a November wedding is rumored to be in the works. Brit's fiancé, Kevin Federline, has already received a death threat from one of her stalkers. Welcome to your life will never be the same again, Kevin!

Timing is everything: There are unconfirmed reports Britney Spears will release a greatest hits album November 16th, around the time of the rumored wedding.

Let's start some more rumors: What's the hurry to get married, Britney? Knocked up??

DMX could be in some real trouble after being busted the other day at New York City's Kennedy Airport. DMX crashed his car through a parking lot gate, and pulled a man from a car, claiming to be an FBI agent. Why would he do such a thing? Among the many charges filed by police--possession of (lots of) crack! The rapper faces up to seven years in the Suge Knight hotel.

How much do you make from putting your name on one of those celebrity fragrances? If you're Beyonce, that paycheck has a "three" followed by "six zeros" on it!

Christina Aguilera is using her free-time this summer to record two new albums (one Spanish). I thought she cancelled her tour in order to "rest her voice."

Courtney Love Yeah... looking good, Courtney: Rocker-turned-predictable f*** up Courtney Love showed up for a court appearance five hours late yesterday! Photographers snapped my new favorite scary Courtney Love pic outside the courtroom (Is that even her? Looks like she sent some dude-friend in a bad blond wig in her place!)

Fahrenheit 9/11, the controversial Michael Moore film, became the first ever documentary to win the weekend box office, pulling in $23.9 million.

Kelly Clarkson has a new song called "Breakaway" coming out on the upcoming The Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack.

Spider-Man 2 opens tomorrow. The early buzz is that's easily as good as the first (and could be even better)!

The first release from Diana DeGarmo, the American Idol runner-up, hits stores today. The three-song single includes "Dreams," DeGarmo's version of "I Believe" (released last week by Idol winner Fantasia), and "Don't Cry Out Loud," performed with Melissa Manchester, who had a hit with it a long time ago (1979).

Also in stores: Uncle Kracker, Sunny and 72; Brandy, Afrodisiac.

Boob Tube: BET is letting Janet Jackson perform live (no tape delay) on tonight's BET Awards. C'mon admit
it--it'd be pretty funny if she did it AGAIN!
