![]() Bad day: Courtney Love missed a court appearance in Los Angeles today. The judge issued a warrant for her arrest. All this on her 40th birthday! Bobby Brown has until Sunday to turn himself in to police in Alpharetta, Georgia, to face charges he hit his wife Whitney Houston. Advice to Bobby: Hit record, not wife. Record hit: Usher's "Burn" has returned to the top spot on the Billboard singles chart. Usher's had the number one song 20 different weeks this year--that's the most time spent on top in a given year in chart history. And we all know when Usher spends time "on top" it leads to another hit song ("Confessions, Part II," for example). Idle sales: American Idol runner-up Diana DeGarmo sold 65,000 copies of her debut single in its first week of release. That's about half what Fantasia sold her first week. Both of their sales are low compared to previous winners, and runner-up Clay Aiken. Spider-Man… The Musical? Yep, a stage version is being planned, and talks are underway with U2 for the band to write the songs. New episodes of the live concert series Sessions@AOL air on Fuse every Tuesday this month: Avril Lavigne 7/13; Dave Matthews 7/20; Kanye West & Twista 7/27. Actress Lindsay Lohan has signed a record contract with Casablanca. Her new boss, Tommy Motolla, used to guide Mariah Carey's career (in addition to hypnotizing her to marry him). I do ya, but I won't listen to ya: Dennis Rodman says he told Madonna he hated her music while they were dating back in the day. "I told her that I never liked her music, she sucks." And he lived to tell about it! American Idol finalist Jasmine Trias will make a cameo on North Shore, the FOX drama set in Hawaii, her home state. Janet Jackson says she's ready to have kids--that fiancé Jermaine Dupri has awakened her desire for motherhood. If it pops out during breast-feeding, is that indecent? New in theaters: Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (Will Farrell). --Greg Valentine
